Curling & Communal Hot Pot
Curling is a team sport played on ice where players slide heavy stones toward a target. Teammates use brooms to sweep the ice and guide the stone’s path. Points are scored based on how close the stones are to the center of the target.
Hot Pot
Gather around a steaming pot filled with flavorful broth, surrounded by an array of fresh ingredients like vegetables, thinly sliced meats, and noodles. Warm conversation and the warmth of the pot creates a sense of togetherness,
12:30pm Meet at TRU Bus Exchange
(Take city bus #7 or #9)
1:00pm Meet at Kamloops Curling Club
1:30-3:30pm Curling
3:30-5:30pm Hot Pot – Communal Meal
Activity ends downtown
Equipment: No need to bring any—we’ll provide brooms and sliders for everyone.
Clothing: Please bring warm and comfortable clothing (e.g., joggers, long-sleeve t-shirt, sweater, gloves, etc.) and a pair of clean shoes (like runners), they don’t need to be spotless, but we ask that they’re free of mud or pebbles to help keep the ice clean.
